The role is responsible for ensuring that all products meet internal specifications and customer requirements through rigorous inspection, data analysis, and corrective actions.
Duties Quality System Management:
Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with standards like
ISO 9001
2015 & IATF 16949.
Process Improvement:
Utilize tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis to enhance process capability and reduce variability.
Inspection & Control:
Define, monitor, and enforce quality standards for raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
Audit Management:
Lead internal, external, and supplier audits implementing corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Collect and analyze quality KPIs (e.g., customer returns, defect rates) to report to senior leadership for strategic decision making.
Leadership & Culture:
Coach the quality team and foster a company-wide quality culture.
Required Qualifications & Skills Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
Experience:
5-10+ years in manufacturing quality roles, with significant supervisory or management experience.
Technical Knowledge:
Proficiency in quality engineering tools (SPC, Cpk, GRR), regulatory compliance, and inspection methods.
Certifications:
ASQ certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA) and Six Sigma green/black belt are highly valued.
Skills:
Strong root cause analysis, communication, leadership, and problem solving.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $102,000.00 per year
