Job Description

Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. is seeking a Food Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead QA activities in a high-volume prepared foods manufacturing plant. This role oversees daily quality checks, food safety programs, sanitation verification, and regulatory compliance (FDA/USDA, HACCP, SQF/BRC). The supervisor coaches QA techs, partners with Production to resolve issues, and drives root-cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include documentation, audits, hold-and-release decisions, customer complaint review, and training on GMPs, allergen control, and HACCP to ensure safe, high-quality products in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. Responsibilities Lead daily QA inspections, product checks, and line audits in a prepared foods manufacturing facility. Maintain and enforce HACCP plans, food safety programs, GMPs, sanitation, and allergen control. Ensure compliance with FDA/USDA and GFSI standards, supporting customer and regulatory audits. Supervise, schedule, and develop QA technicians, providing on-the-job training and performance feedback. Conduct root cause analysis for nonconformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Manage documentation, records, and traceability for quality and food safety programs. Review and release product holds, evaluate deviations, and coordinate disposition decisions. Analyze quality data and trends to drive continuous improvement in processes and product performance. Investigate customer complaints and implement improvements to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Sanitation to resolve quality and food safety issues promptly.
