Job Description
Quality Control Specialist A leading personal care and cosmetics manufacturer in Pine Brook, NJ is seeking a Quality Control Specialist for a temporary assignment. This role is expected to last a minimum of one month , offering a great opportunity to contribute to a high-standard Quality Management System.

$25.00 - $28.00/hrKey Responsibilities QMS Support:
Assist in maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) and adhering to the established Quality Policy and Objectives.Specification Management:
Manage and maintain required specifications for raw materials, product-in-process, finished products, and packaging materials.Quality Assurance:
Implement formal systems for verifying the conformity of materials and products, ensuring only inspected and released materials are transferred.Process Control:
Work alongside the production team to implement sampling programs, testing, and inspections during the manufacturing process to reduce variability.Documentation:
Create and update procedures, forms, and records necessary to ensure all materials meet strict specifications.Equipment Oversight:
Guarantee the frequency and calibration of all measuring instruments used for quality assurance.Issue Resolution:
Document and investigate internally identified non-conformities and customer complaints using traceability procedures to establish root causes.Auditing & Compliance:
Support internal audit programs to confirm compliance with procedures and policies.Collaboration:
Coordinate with Development teams to create standards for new product and packaging evaluations. Qualifications Previous experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions. Ability to manage detailed documentation, including procedures, forms, and records. Experience with instrument calibration and sampling programs is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills for proactive collaboration across various departments.Compensation / Pay
