Job Description

Job Summary The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive monitoring and quality improvement system for O.C.E.A.N., Inc.'s Head Start and Early Head Start programs. This position ensures that program services are delivered consistently, effectively, and in compliance with the Head Start Program Performance Standards, applicable federal and state regulations, agency policies, grant requirements, licensing standards, and approved program plans. The Quality Assurance Manager provides ongoing oversight of program compliance, internal monitoring, data integrity, corrective action, risk management, recordkeeping, and continuous quality improvement. The position conducts regular reviews of program operations and works collaboratively with leadership, managers, supervisors, teaching staff, home visitors, Family Services, Health, Nutrition, Mental Health, Disabilities, ERSEA, Human Resources, Fiscal, and community partners. The Quality Assurance Manager identifies program strengths, compliance concerns, service gaps, and emerging risks; recommends corrective actions; monitors implementation; and ensures that findings are addressed within required timeframes. The position also supports federal monitoring reviews, licensing inspections, audits, grant reporting, annual Self-Assessment activities, and agencywide performance improvement efforts. (refer to our website for the full job description: https://www.oceaninc.org/) Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, education, social work, human services, public administration, business administration, organizational management, quality assurance, or a related field. A minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in Head Start, Early Head Start, early childhood education, human services, compliance, quality assurance, program monitoring, or a related field. At least two years of supervisory, management, or program leadership experience. Demonstrated experience conducting file reviews, monitoring program operations, preparing reports, and developing corrective action plans. Experience analyzing data and using results to improve program performance. Experience interpreting policies, regulations, standards, and grant requirements
Pay:
$27.50 - $32.50 per hour
