Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, NM Duration:
3 Months Contract (Immediate Need) Key Responsibilities Manage all Quality Control (QC) activities throughout the project lifecycle. Develop, implement, and maintain the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Plan. Ensure compliance with USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, and contract specifications. Conduct daily quality inspections and coordinate testing activities. Prepare and maintain QC documentation, reports, submittals, and deficiency logs. Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections. Coordinate with the Government Quality Assurance Representative (QAR), subcontractors, and project team. Verify that all work meets project specifications, safety requirements, and applicable codes. Track corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of quality issues. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Control Manager (QCM) on federal construction projects. Required experience with USACE and/or NAVFAC construction projects. Strong background in DoD/Defense construction. Thorough knowledge of the USACE Three-Phase Quality Control System. Experience preparing and managing Contractor Quality Control (CQC) documentation. Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to obtain access to a military installation. #
