Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Quality Control Manager to join one of their federal contracting clients in Los Alamos, NM. The individual will be vital part in ensuring all aspects of the project meet the required standards/safety protocols and will be supporting projects at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing QC programs, inspecting, and reviewing, monitoring materials, coordinating with stakeholders, documentation, training, develop and implement safety policies, conduct inspections, incident investigation, emergency planning, and equipment safety, and compliance. This is a fully onsite position- 5 days a week at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee daily QA/QC operations to ensure compliance with LANL and regulatory standards
- Lead and supervise QA/QC staff, review inspections, testing results, and quality documentation
- Validate materials, components, and processes against engineering specifications and acceptance criteria
- Investigate nonconformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain audit-ready quality records
- Partner with engineering, operations, and safety teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes
- Ensure proper calibration and use of inspection and measurement equipment

- Respond to inbound calls, emails, live chat and voice mails.
- Possess knowledge of the mortgage origination process to be able to identify, understand and categorize the caller's request, so that accurate and complete information is provided in response.
- Utilize a web-based knowledge database to answer policy questions and general questions from the lending industry on FHA mortgage programs.
- Utilize the FHA Connection help guide (web-based application) and the knowledge database to trouble shoot issues with the FHA Connection system.
- Utilize other HUD, web-based systems (i.e. SAMS and SFISnet) to assist appropriate callers.
- Enter accurate and detailed information in a Customer Relationship Management application summarizing caller contact data, data about the nature of the request and whether or not a referral was provided.
- Warm transfer calls that cannot be resolved to the applicable Homeownership Center (HOC).
