  • CDMO Hartmann Young is partnered with a global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) with over 30 years of experience partnering with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to support the development, manufacture, and delivery of therapies for patients.
We are looking for a Quality Control Trainer to join the team in Albany, New York. The Role You will develop and deliver programming that ensures Quality Control personnel are qualified to perform their role in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). You'll also apply instructional design principles and facilitation skills to execute a training program that promotes high levels of learner engagement, immerses employees in the company culture and values, and helps them perform aspects of their role right first time. Training will focus on building engagement, knowledge, and foundational skills. The role supports data integrity, regulatory readiness, and right-first-time performance by embedding strong technical skills and quality culture across the QC laboratory. The Person Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field and 5-7 years of related work experience; Experience training or mentoring in a regulated environment; Strong hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV, and wet chemistry; Seasoned facilitation skills and subject matter expertise for best practices in QC training and compliance; Experience with LMS platforms and training documentation systems.   • Designs and delivers engaging instructor-led training using learner-focused and user experience principles to maximise knowledge transfer. Familiarity with regulatory expectations (e.g., FDA guidelines). Develop learning assessments (e.g, using Kirkpatrick's Model of Evaluation).
