Full-Time Salary:
$75,000 - $85,000 per year Epic Personnel Partners is currently seeking an experiencedoperation in Islandia, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader with experience in warehouse quality, food safety, compliance, and team management. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, flexible, hands-on, and able to lead quality operations while maintaining compliance with company standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the Quality Assurance, Cheese, and Janitorial departments across all shifts Supervise warehouse quality assurance processes and production standards Prepare quality documentation, reports, and corrective action plans by analyzing trends, failed processes, recalls, and re-validations Enforce plant quality standards and ensure product quality consistency Manage and maintain quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials Monitor, enforce, and continuously improve HACCP programs Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations, including food safety standards Maintain compliance with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety requirements Ensure sanitation, production, and safety standards are consistently met Communicate professionally with clients regarding quality concerns and operational updates Support warehouse operations and collaborate closely with department supervisors and associates Investigate customer concerns and complaints while implementing effective resolutions Schedule staff, assign duties, support employee evaluations, and help foster a positive team environment
Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in a warehouse, food distribution, quality control, or wholesale environment Experience with Quality Assurance / Quality Control in food manufacturing or distribution strongly preferred Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, MSDS, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance Strong warehouse operations understanding and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Experience supervising diverse teams and maintaining productivity standards Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong leadership, problem-solving, and people management skills Ability to build strong working relationships across departments Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, and WMS systems Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Must be reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Work Environment:
Ability to work in a distribution center environment with varying temperatures Comfortable walking warehouse floors and supporting operational needs
