Job Description
Quality Control Supervisor 1st shift Monday - Friday Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Conduct routine quality tests (dimensional, functional, and visual).
- Document inspection results accurately in logs, databases, or quality management systems (QMS).
- Identify nonconformances and quarantine defective materials or products.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities.
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions to verify compliance.
- Assist in internal audits and support external audits as needed.
- Communicate quality issues to production, engineering, and leadership teams. Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, or a related field
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, QMS software, ERP systems) Preferred
- Experience, GMP, Food Grade Warehousing, and other industry standards Core Competencies
