Learn how you can start or jumpstart your career with us. TheAFT Films Quality organization is seeking aQuality System Leader to join the Kapton® team. The Quality organization provides quality and technical support across the AFT Films manufacturing sites and partner locations worldwide, including QMS oversight and continuous improvement. The Quality System Leader will lead the Films Quality System requirements and upgrades (ISO 9001:2015), as well as key quality management improvement programs, including Core Tools utilization, supplier and raw material management processes, and Films Improvement project related to quality, including but not limited to system implementation, standardization and automation. Your Key Responsibilities Manage the current Kapton® Films Quality Management System, which is currently certified under
ISO 9001
2015. Maintain effectiveness of the QMS and drive improvements and rigor with the operations teams to ensure effectiveness by working closely with the site teams and Qnity business supporting staff. Serve as the primary quality system lead in new business growth and development (PCF) projects, understanding the gaps and needs towards current and future quality system needs. Proactively provide frequent, documented program status updates and resolution proposals that include system gaps or risks that require escalation. (eg. Supplier Quality Development/Management, QMS conformance, MAQMSR or IATF needs, to name a few) Actively support and drive the Operations teams on quality system improvement needs and QMS conformance/rigor at our Films plants. Serve as key quality resource to support and execute the operational excellence journey by working with Films manufacturing site leaders and teams at the Circleville and Bayport Films sites Develop a films Supplier Management system including program tools, ensuring these tools are used as part of the product and process development frameworks and as part of daily raw material management. This position is expected to be located at the Circleville Ohio site, with travel to Films MFG sites when needed including Bayport TX and potential Tollers/Suppliers. (10% travel) Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in STEM program Extensive
ISO 9001
2015 QMS knowledge and experience, including lead auditor training and certification Strong Quality Engineering mindset and experience using quality tools (FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, PPAP) Strong data analysis skills; experience using statistical tools like
JMP, LIMS, MES
Good interpersonal skills to allow productive and collaborative relationships with internal and external customer, suppliers, contract manufacturing partners, 3rd party auditors, operations teams, and technical personnel. Self-motivated and attention to detail Demonstrated skill to work individually, as a member of a team, and through influence At least 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in the electronics, semiconductor or semiconductor materials industry in a quality or technical role is preferred. (Engineering, R, Quality, Fab, Manufacturing, etc.) Demonstrated success resolving technical challenges in a time-critical situation. Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is desired.
