9:30PM - 7:30AM Job Responsibilities Supervise quality technicians Work closely and communicate well with upper management, other departments, and employees Develop and implement quality and food safety programs, HACCP training, etc. Perform data entry and interpretation Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with customers Possess an understanding of machinery Assist QA Receiving/Shipping supervisor USDA Export Work Data entry and filing QA hold and micro management in the Canopy system Submit Export Paperwork Answer the Customer Questions Product and label inspection for Export Facility GMP Check, Warehouse Allergen storage check Review infinity records for customer. Request Corrective action for GMP, Quality issue, and Monitoring Corrective action follow up Special projects Assigned by Supervisor Communicate clearly with others and work in a weekend rotation schedule if applicable. Hard worker, excellent attendance and not be shy or timid in communicating with others. Must be able to lift 40lbs. Analyze Raw Meat records and report the data Review any Laboratory records. (FOSS, Sensory, Customer records) Assist QA Receiving, Shipping team work responsibility Other assigned duties Qualifications Experience in Supervision and food processing is a definite plus. 4-year degree preferred (Micro Biology preferred) but not required Food safety, USDA, HACCP, and SSOPs experience a plus Honesty Excellent math skills Basic computer skills, including word, excel, power-point Good communications skills- bilingual a plus Ability to organize and lead a team Hard working and responsible Superb Attention to detail Good attendance Previous QA and food experience Training experience Experience in writing programs and procedures Can work independently and show initiative Shift 3rd Shift 9:30 pm - 7:30 am Benefits Vacation is accrued at .77 hours per week. At the end of one (1) year, 40 hours of vacation will be accrued. Vacation time cannot be taken before one year of employment. One year accrues at .77 hours per week Two years accrues at 1.54 hours per week 10 years accrues at 2.31 hours per week 20 years accrues at 3.08 hours per week Medical/Dental/Vision/Short Term/Long Term Disability/Term Life/FMLA/LOA/Workers Compensation. Non FMLA maternity leave will be given for 6 - 8 weeks from date of delivery dependent on type of delivery.
