Quality Control Supervisor

  • $120k We are a fast-growing food manufacturer looking for a QA Supervisor to lead quality oversight on the production floor and support our food safety programs.
What you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, or related field, or equivalent experience 3+ years QA/QC experience in food or beverage manufacturing PCQI certification and SQF Practitioner Working knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SSOP, and FSMA Preventive Controls Prior supervisory or lead experience over QA personnel What you'll do: Supervise and develop a team of QA technicians across production shifts Monitor in-process quality controls including weight checks, sensory evaluations, and CCP monitoring Perform pre-op and operational sanitation inspections and drive corrective actions Review and approve batch records, quality logs, and environmental monitoring data Support the HACCP plan, GMPs, and FSMA Preventive Controls program Assist with internal audits, mock recalls, and GFSI certification audit prep Investigate non-conformances and complaints; support root cause analysis and CAPA Maintain allergen control procedures and verify floor compliance Deliver food safety and quality training for QA and production staff
Preferred:
Experience supporting SQF, BRC, or other GFSI certification audits Familiarity with allergen-sensitive or novel ingredient manufacturing
