Full Job Description Description:
The Quality Control (QC) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all quality control operations within the distribution and manufacturing environment. This role leads the QC team in ensuring that all products meet established quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. The QC Supervisor assists with developing, implementations, and maintaining systems for inspection, testing, and process control, while ensuring consistency across incoming materials, in-process production, and outgoing shipments. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product integrity, minimizing defects, and supporting overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or Equivalent. Proven ability to lead and supervise a team Strong working knowledge of inspection processes, quality systems, and documentation practices. Experience with metal products, fabrication, or building materials preferred. Fluent in English (verbal and written) 5 years of experience in
Quality Control Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, direction, and daily supervision to the Quality Control team; Coordinate team activities to meet operational and quality objectives. Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and staffing needs using company systems. Ensure all employees are properly trained on quality standards, inspection procedures, and safety requirements. Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement. Responsible for having a high level of expertise and knowledge regarding product specifications impacting product quality. Perform and oversee inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure conformance with specifications. Ensure proper use of mechanical and electrical testing instruments, gauges, and test equipment. Verify accuracy of labeling, packaging, and shipping documentation. Monitor and enforce compliance with internal quality procedures and industry standards. Assist in the development and continuous improvement of quality programs, procedures, and workflows. Identify root causes of defects, nonconformances, and process inefficiencies. Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and reduce waste. Collaborate with Operations, Production, and Procurement to resolve quality issues and improve processes. Process associated documentation, including process tags, rework tags and nonconforming material documents. Produce and collect product samples for testing and reporting per scheduled procedures. Track quality metrics and generate reports for leadership. Support shipping & receiving quality verification processes and warehouse teams to ensure product handling and storage meet quality standards. Communicate quality issues, delays, or discrepancies to appropriate departments and assist in resolution. Support audits, inspections, and compliance initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Supervisory Role:
This position is responsible for supervising all QC personnel within the assigned area, including inspectors and support staff.

Identification and reporting of health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries and property damage at the workplace.
Performance standards:
Semi-annual performance appraisal based on established job responsibilities and performance goals. Semi-annual performance goal targets established between the supervisor and employee.
