ABOUT THE COMPANY

JOB OVERVIEW
Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager, this position is responsible for the implementing, monitoring, and enforcing of the Whitley East's quality programs and standards. DUTIES As Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following: Building Inspections Conducts spot inspections in all departments including, but not limited to, framing, walls, finishing, floors, MEP, ect. Checks all station leadman and supervisor sign-offs. Studies each print and identifies all non-standard items and procedures. Conducts a detailed inspection of all non-standard items and procedures. Schedules inspectors and provides all information needed such as approved prints, previous inspection sheets, Q.C. manuals, etc. Creates, collects and files building travelers. Inspects ship loose, close-up and dealer packets. Inspects units prior to movement to storage areas for condition of tires, hitches, close-up and over all general condition. Re-inspects tires and close-up prior to transport staging. Ship loose & Transportation Insures proper disbursement of the materials within one unit or between several units of same complex. Assembles customer packages (warranties, instruction booklets, keys, etc.). Takes pictures of ship loose and completed building and downloads to the digital files. Administrative Duties Distributes quality control forms as required for ship loose and transportation. Prepares daily list of completed units. Assures that quality control documentation is accessible. Monitors flow of quality control paperwork. Orders and reports insignias to the different state agencies. Secures proper installation and location of all state insignias. Takes pictures of insignia and downloads to the digital files. Processes packets for shipping. Distributes finished paperwork appropriately. Maintains and updates yard log program. Assists in establishing quality standards. Assists in the development of station checklists. Assists in the development of all quality control forms, as necessary. Miscellaneous Assists Quality Assurance Manager as needed. Assists all other administrative support positions as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years previous quality experience in construction a related field Associates degree in related field or previous certifications quality certifications in a related field preferred Highly organized with a foundation in quality and safety Ability to perform visual inspection of all aspects of fabrication during the production process Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans Maintain quality assurance records for each building module Ability to monitor and direct third-party inspection agencies Whitley East Manufacturing/Sunbelt Modular is an equal opportunity employer. Pay:
$23.75 - $28.60 per hour
