Position:
The Premium Products Quality Manager position is responsible for maintaining the EQS quality system and external quality certifications for premium products that involve vacuum induction melted and remelting processes.About Ellwood Quality Steels:

Maintains the EQS quality system for premium products and external quality certifications Maintains the quality assurance manual for premium products. Responsible for internal/external audits and corrective actions. Responsible for reviewing and signing certified test reports. Assists other departments with quality system development. Manages the personnel in Quality Assurance personnel involved with premium products. Management Representative with responsibility and authority for oversight of: Ensuring the Premium Products Quality Management System (QMS) conforms to all applicable requirements Ensuring that processes deliver intended results Reporting on the performance of the Premium Products QMS to top management Ensuring the promotion of customer focus Ensuring the integrity of the Premium Products QMS Travel (local, national and international) as required. Abides by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations and work rules. Must have ability and desire to work with others. Meets attendance requirements. Performs other duties as deemed necessary.What You'll Need:
Bachelor of Science in a technical field Minimum five (5) years QA/QC experience, preferably in the metals manufacturing industry dealing with remelted (VAR/ESR) products. Required to have an active and valid driver's license, or the ability to travel and commute as required, and comply with the Motor Vehicle Safety Program. Strong organizational skills Ability to work with personnel at all levels of the organization Good verbal and written communication skills Active and valid driver's license.
