About the position As the Senior Quality Control Manager , you will be r esponsible for assuring the Company provides the highest quality of electrical construction services and that all stated requirements are met with respect to engineering, management, testing, material, codes, installation, workmanship, construction, finish, functional performance, identification, record keeping and customer relations. This position partners with job site personnel and project management team members as appropriate, to ensure high quality project results are achieved, in alignment with all Company policies, procedures, key objectives and regulations. Can work autonomously and creatively solve problems. Day in the life Develops all project specific quality control (QC) plans for submission in alignment with project and company requirements. Builds strategic and effective relationships with site QC teams, project management team, specialty contractors, vendors, suppliers, user groups and others that reflect and support the Company's core values and meets or exceeds the customer's expectations. Negotiates with vendors as needed. Stays informed of new and changing Company procedures, policies, materials, technologies, techniques, and practices. Establishes and helps develop training for company quality control policies and processes. Understands and enforces NFPA 70E, interprets and implements protection settings, Arc Flash labeling, and PPE requirements to ensure safe electrical conditions. Prepares, distributes, and maintains daily reports summarizing information related to current project status. Reports all safety issues or concerns immediately to the designated safety personnel on site. Consistently makes decisions in an attentive and safe manner to ensure the safety and health of self and others. Utilizes LEAN concepts or other continuous improvement methodologies to ensure the most efficient operations, processes, and activities. Promotes and models the Company mission, vision and values through exercising sound and ethical business practices, championing all elements of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and providing high-quality services and programs as they relate to clients, subcontractors, co-workers, suppliers, and the public. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in electrical engineering, building construction quality control, or a related field. USACE Quality Management for Contractors certification is required. CPR certification and OSHA 10 certifications are also required. Electrical Master's License or similar electrical-related qualification is preferred.
