Job Description

Position Summary The Quality Supervisor supports FlexIT's commitment to delivering reliable, compliant fluid-conveyance products to OEM customers. This role focuses on day-to-day execution of quality processes , supervision of inspection activities, and frontline problem solving across hose assemblies, tubes, fittings, adapters, and quick couplers. The Quality Supervisor ensures quality standards are followed from incoming inspection through final shipment, supports
ISO 9001
2015 requirements, and works closely with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to reduce defects, scrap, and rework. Success is measured by stable processes, timely issue resolution, strong inspection discipline, and consistent adherence to the Quality Management System. Key Responsibilities Manufacturing Quality Control Supervise incoming, in-process, and final inspections Ensure inspection plans, control plans, and work instructions are followed Support production teams in daily problem-solving and root cause analysis Monitor quality KPIs (scrap, rework, defects, customer complaints) and escalate trends Ensure proper use, calibration, and care of measuring and monitoring equipment Continuous Improvement Support Assist with continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and basic root cause tools Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities Participate in process improvement projects to reduce waste and variation Promote a mindset of quality and accountability on the shop floor Supplier & Customer Quality Support Support supplier quality activities, including inspections and data review Assist with customer complaint investigations and corrective action implementation Help gather and maintain compliance documentation (COO, Conflict Minerals, ROHS, REACH, Prop-65, etc.) Support customer and supplier audits as needed Training & Team Leadership Train production and inspection personnel on quality procedures and work instructions Provide day-to-day guidance and coaching to inspectors and quality technicians Reinforce adherence to

requirements and internal quality standards Escalate quality risks or recurring issues to management Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) Support maintenance of the

2015 Quality Management System Ensure proper document control and record retention at the operational level Assist with internal audits and follow-up on corrective actions Help track and verify effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Audits & Compliance Participate in internal and external audits (certification bodies, customers, suppliers) Support investigation and documentation of nonconformities Ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained on the shop floor Qualifications & Experience Associate or bachelor's degree, or equivalent manufacturing quality experience 3+ years of experience in manufacturing quality or inspection role Working knowledge of
ISO 9001
2015 requirements Experience with inspections, nonconformance management, and basic root cause analysis Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications Strong communication and organizational skills • Expected to participate in ongoing training opportunities Work Environment May require standing for extended periods, repetitive motions, and lifting or handling materials Flexible hours may be required, including overtime, weekends, or travel as needed
Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
