Sumter, SC Position Summary The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure all products meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements. This role oversees quality assurance operations, laboratory testing, and compliance with industry standards, while driving continuous improvement and team development. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary quality representative for customer communications related to quality concerns Ensure compliance with
IATF 16949, ISO
17025, and
ISO 9001
standards Oversee raw material, in-process, and finished product quality inspections Manage PPAP documentation and automotive quality requirements Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and non-conformance resolution Supervise QA laboratory operations, including reporting and testing protocols Maintain and improve QMS processes, policies, and documentation Support cross-functional teams (Applications, Technical Service, Sales) on quality and testing initiatives Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and employee development Authorize rework processes and ensure product release compliance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field 3+ years of experience in Quality Management or QA Lab leadership Experience in plastics manufacturing preferred Strong knowledge of
IATF 16949, ISO
17025, and quality systems Hands-on experience with PPAP, audits, and lab testing environments Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
