Job Description

II-1. General Description 1) Lead all Quality Management activities for Injection Molding, Painting, and Assembly operations. 2) Ensure customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement through an effective quality system. II-2. Key Roles and Responsibilities II-2-1. Quality Management System & Compliance - Lead and maintain the QMS and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, customer requirements, and internal standards. - Manage audits, corrective actions, quality documentation, and continuous improvement activities.. II-2-2. Customer Quality Management - Act as the primary quality representative for GM, Hyundai/Kia, Stellantis, and other OEM customers. - Lead customer complaints, warranty claims, field quality issues, customer escalations and audits. II-2-3. Supplier Quality Management - Lead supplier quality development, supplier audits, and corrective action activities. - Monitor supplier quality performance and ensure incoming material quality compliance.
II-2-4. APQP
& Launch Quality - Lead APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, and quality readiness activities for new programs and engineering changes. - Ensure successful product launches and production transfers through
SOP. II-2-5.
Plant Quality & Continuous Improvement - Monitor quality KPIs including PPM, Scrap, Rework, Warranty, COPQ, and Customer Scorecards. - Lead root cause analysis, containment, corrective actions, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. II-2-6. People Management & Leadership - Lead, coach, and develop Quality Engineers, SQEs, and Quality Technicians. - Establish departmental objectives, manage KPIs, and promote a culture of quality excellence. II-2-7. Quality Strategy & Business Support - Develop quality strategies to support business objectives, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. - Collaborate with Production, ME, Maintenance, and Launch team to drive quality performance and achieve plant goals II-3. Job Requirements II-3-1. Work Experience 1) 10+ years of experience in Automotive Quality, Supplier Quality, Customer Quality, or Manufacturing Quality. 2) 5+ years of leadership experience managing quality organizations and customer quality activities. 3) Experience supporting GM, Hyundai/Kia, and Stellantis customer quality requirements preferred. II-3-2. Education 1) Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field required. 2) Six Sigma, CQE, CQM, or related certifications preferred. II-3-3. Knowledge Skills and Abilities 1) Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, and MSA. 2) Experience with OEM customer management, supplier quality, warranty systems, and manufacturing quality processes. 3) Strong leadership, customer communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
