POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Quality supports the organization in the development, improvement, and implementation of the DSV Quality Management System (QMS). This position is responsible for quality activities to support the warehouse including but not limited to receiving, shipping and other related functions. This includes tracking, investigating and correcting OS&D (over, short, and damaged).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain the site QMS documentation such as procedures, work instructions, visuals. Requires making recommendations with regards to procedures, standards to maintain process quality. Support all client related and applicable QMS requirements. Coordinate all requirements related to the 5 Star Site Certification Program. Responsible for managing requirements related to Quality & Training. When applicable, create and maintain HACCP program to support Food Safety Policy and Food Defense Plan. Ensure site is compliant with applicable GMP standards and FDA regulations. Establish and maintain "quality standards" for all critical functions supporting the operation. Train site management and employees on the QMS components and requirements. Lead site teams to respond to client complaints, internal errors with regards to root cause and solutions in support of corrective and preventive action process. Serve as the primary contact for any external or internal audits, with development of any resulting action plans Assist with coordination of recalls, hold notifications, stop-shipments, etc., in consultation with customer management. Compile and submit assigned daily, weekly, and monthly reports to site and/or supported clients. Develop and monitor key performance indicators and metrics for quality related processes. Conduct and/or participate in all required department quality related meetings. Adhere to all company policies and procedures or other communicated rules and/or regulations. Sponsor the site Training Program including coordinating training documentation Perform all duties assigned by the site General Manager deemed necessary to achieve client satisfaction.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education & Experience:
Must have High School diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree preferred. Preferred 5 years' experience in a medium to large warehouse in a management capacity. 2 years' experience as a Quality Manager. Knowledge of warehouse operations with basic GMP as necessary Preferred knowledge of
ISO, HACCP, 21CFR, FDA, SQF
For this position, the expected base pay range is $115,000.00 - $140,000.00 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
