Job Description

Position Summary Gemtron Corporation, a leading manufacturer of glass components and assemblies for the appliance industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Systems Coordinator to support and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS). This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with ISO standards, managing quality documentation, coordinating audits, tracking corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, strong organizational skills, and a passion for quality excellence. Key Responsibilities Maintain and administer the plant's Quality Management System (QMS). Control quality documents, procedures, work instructions, and records. Coordinate internal and external audits, including ISO certification audits. Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) and verify effectiveness. Assist with customer, regulatory, and certification audits. Maintain calibration and document control programs. Monitor quality metrics and prepare reports for management review. Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct training related to quality procedures and compliance requirements. Assist in managing non-conforming materials and quality records. Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Customer Service teams to improve quality performance. Ensure compliance with customer specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing quality systems, quality assurance, or document control. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management principles. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications
ISO 9001
Internal Auditor certification. Experience with corrective action systems and audit management. Experience with ERP and electronic document control systems. Knowledge of SPC, CAPA, FMEA, and root cause analysis methodologies. Glass, automotive, appliance, or high-volume manufacturing experience.
