Job Description
Job Summary The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining the quality assurance functions to ensure all quality systems meet the requirements. Responsibilities include maintaining systems which control non-conforming material. Develops, controls, and distributes systems which control non-conforming material. Develops, controls, and distributes quality documentation; provides for collection and entry of quality information via Quality Information System. Manages the development and implementation of ISO 9001-2015 and ensures audits are performed on a defined schedule. Responsible for establishing and maintaining the cost of quality program and quality indicators Key Responsibilities Manage the system of internal indicators which will be reported to the customers. Ensure the final goods audits are done on a predetermined schedule. Approve new suppliers related to quality assurance. Manage the equipment, facilities, and staff with which to perform Quality Assurance functions. May include laboratory and testing control; equipment calibration; operation training and evaluation; methods of quality assurance; records retention; and information integrity. Maintain product and process management to provide necessary information to manufacturing process control according to control plan requirements; quality standards; product or process specifications; documentation via quality instructions; training; evaluations; etc. Uphold accuracy and timeliness of quality information feedback to departments that are responsible for product and process evaluation and quality improvements. Effectively utilize the Quality Assurance work force, facilities, and equipment to meet organization's goals and objectives. Coordinate
