Construction Quality Control Manager Emerson Construction Co Inc - 4.2 Abilene, TX Job Details 2 hours ago Qualifications Construction specifications CQM-C Construction plans Construction drawing review Construction document control Construction quality assurance Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control (CQC) Manager to support U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) construction projects. The CQC Manager will oversee and implement the Contractor Quality Control program to ensure all work complies with contract requirements, specifications, and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Implement and manage the USACE Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Plan Conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and approved submittals Coordinate quality activities with project teams, subcontractors, and
USACE QA
staff Maintain QC documentation, reports, and corrective actions in RMS/QCS Identify and resolve non-conforming work
Requirements:
5+ years of construction experience with QC on federal or Construction Management Degree
USACE CQM
for Contractors certification (required) Experience with RMS/QCS Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications Strong communication and documentation skills
Preferred:
USACE project experience Familiarity with
EM 385-1-1 OSHA 30
certification
