This position is a hand on job requiring significant time on the shop floor working with employees across all shifts.

Requirements:

Must have quality control experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have previous leadership/supervisory experience Ability to read and interpret prints Ability to use micrometers, calipers Good communications skills (Written and Verbal) - Must deal with customers, management and shop floor employees Ability to work flexible schedule depending on production demands. Includes occasional nights and weekends. Must work well with others in resolving day to day issues. Ability to work with Microsoft Office products:

Outlook, Excel, Word Responsibilities:

Trains and oversees Quality Leads on each shift. Communicates quality issues and their resolution across all shifts. Develops quality standards and written procedures. Ensures that certification compliance is maintained through required testing and record keeping. Works with customers and manufacturing to resolve customer complaints and to establish expectations. Manages product returns and credits. Makes go/no-go decisions regarding product quality. Helps in training new employees regarding quality standards. Maintains the quality hold area Performs daily random inspections
