United States, Texas, Irving 5601 North MacArthur Boulevard (Show on map) Apr 28, 2026 Job Summary Assist the Director of Quality Assurance in managing our Quality Assurance & Biosecurity Programs for the assigned facility. Reports to Director of Quality Assurance. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Perform internal audits of Quality Assurance, HACCP and Biosecurity Programs and work with plant personnel on corrective action. Accompany customers on Quality Assurance and Feed Safety audits at the plant. Assist the Director of Quality Assurance with the management of the company's antioxidant application program. Assist with the company's customer complaint program, working with the plant on corrective action and providing feedback to Sales for resolving complaints with customers. Assist with the management of the company's Mock Recall Program and annual supplier Feed Safety Certifications. Train plant management and personnel in Biosecurity, HACCP and GMP programs. Contribute product development ideas and work on product development teams as appropriate. Provide support to the company's two central analytical laboratories. Work in other activities as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Quality Management, Meat Science or related field OR Minimum 3 years of industry experience in a quality-related role. Preferred Qualifications HACCP certification preferred. Experience with plant Quality Systems and

HACCP/GMP

Plan auditing is desirable. Experience in the Pet Food Industry and with animal byproducts is desirable. Excellent math skills, including statistical analysis. Highly organized, self-motivated with superior time management skills. Exceptional communication skills both written and oral. Work well with all levels of the corporation.
