A Quality Control Manager focuses on detection of mistakes and defects in manufacturing products. Develops procedures and tests to identify any irregularities and error in the output. Manages and oversees all steps related to quality control as part of the quality management strategy of a company. May involve leadership of a team of quality control technicians and other associated staff members.

January 1, 2027 Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Janitorial/Custodial Quality Control Manager (QCM) to manage and implement the Contractor's Quality Control Program for a large janitorial and custodial services contract. The QCM will be responsible for monitoring janitorial/custodial service quality, implementing the Quality Control Plan, overseeing inspections, maintaining quality documentation, identifying deficiencies, tracking corrective actions, and ensuring services meet contract performance standards. This is a full-time, on-site Quality Control position and is organizationally independent from operational management. This position is contingent upon contract award . Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage and implement the Contractor's Quality Control Plan. Establish and maintain effective janitorial/custodial quality-control procedures. Monitor cleaning services for compliance with contract requirements and established performance standards. Conduct and/or oversee inspections of completed janitorial/custodial services. Coordinate and oversee Quality Control Inspector activities. Identify, document, and track service deficiencies. Ensure deficiencies are corrected and required services are re-performed when necessary. Conduct follow-up inspections to verify corrective actions. Maintain inspection records and quality-control documentation. Prepare required quality-control reports. Monitor quality trends and recurring deficiencies. Recommend preventive and corrective measures to improve service quality. Support inspections of routine, periodic, quarterly, and annual cleaning services as applicable. Maintain required organizational independence between Quality Control and operational management. Minimum Qualifications Minimum two (2) years of documented relevant janitorial/custodial service experience. Knowledge of commercial, institutional, or federal janitorial/custodial service standards. Experience with custodial inspections, quality control, performance monitoring, documentation, or corrective-action processes preferred. Ability to identify cleaning deficiencies and evaluate completed services. Strong attention to detail, reporting, and documentation skills. Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English. Ability to work full-time and on-site at Fort Hood during required duty hours.
Preferred Experience:
Federal Government, DoD, military installation, institutional, healthcare, or other large-scale janitorial/custodial Quality Control programs. Candidates selected for proposal submission will be required to provide a current resume clearly documenting qualifying custodial experience and may be required to execute a Letter of Commitment.
Pay:
