Quality Manager Job Description As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS). This includes developing and implementing comprehensive training programs, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 standards, and designing product and process specifications. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the highest quality standards for our products and processes. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS), including training programs, documentation, and process development. Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as ISO9001 standards. Design, revise, and maintain product and process specifications. Implement methods to inspect, test, and evaluate products and manufacturing processes. Track products throughout production to ensure quality checkpoints are met. Conduct thorough inspections of in-process and final products, ensuring all outputs meet company and industry standards. Approve compliant products and manage the rejection process for non-conforming items. Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive improvements. Set quality requirements for raw materials and supplier-delivered components. Monitor supplier compliance and partner with vendors to improve quality performance. Collect, analyze, and summarize quality data to support reporting and decision-making. Maintain accurate quality documentation and perform statistical analysis. Submit detailed reports and performance updates to company leadership. Identify opportunities to enhance quality, efficiency, and processes across the organization. Essential Skills 10-20 years of proven experience in quality management. Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining a Quality Management System (ISO9001 required). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work under deadlines while maintaining high standards. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed. Proficient in Microsoft Office; solid understanding of statistical and data analysis methods. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with supplier quality management and quality assurance. Work Environment The role operates in a covered outdoor space and shop environment, typical of a custom job shop. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Selma, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $52.88/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
