Pearland Job Description Role and Responsibilities:
Oversight of testing, specifications, procedures, cost of quality, etc. Create, define, and implement a quality assurance program and associated processes Prepare and update quality documentation, basing the processes on a recognized standard such as
ISO 9000
- Quality Management. Manage the Corrective and Preventive Action Report Process (CPAR) Coordinated Organizational performance scorecard and goal management Internal/external Auditor (Suppliers/providers, other SolvChem sites, contracted sites) Maintain ACD Responsible Distribution Compliance and Certification Regulatory Compliance assistance and input Execute LEAN tools in Continuous Quality Improvement Processes Review statistical data from the Production to identify quality problems analyze the data and recommend changes to production processes or quality controls to eliminate the problem Develop and monitor continuous improvement programs, aiming to reduce the number of defects (reduce manufacturing costs) and improve overall level of product quality. Work with suppliers to develop and implement quality standards for materials received (ensure incoming components and materials will comply with the manufacturer's quality standards, minimize the time and cost of inspection, and contribute to the overall quality of the finished product. Develop and validate methods for analyzing and producing products to ensure they meet specifications and document those methods in standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production records Develop quality metrics and assess trends for product, production, or process implications Investigate product, and process deviations, identify root cause, and develop corrective and preventative actions Ensure employees working in production are aware of quality requirements to make production employees responsible for managing their own quality standards. When developing new products, work with the product development team to establish quality standards. Assist Operational quality control staff with troubleshooting and resolving unusual problems Conduct annual Management Reviews Management of Quality and Lab personnel Coaching and mentoring staff
