is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director- Quality (Americas) to lead quality performance across our regional manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for driving the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards. The Director will partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to strengthen quality performance, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce cost of poor quality across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities Lead and advance the Americas regional quality strategy aligned with business objectives Ensure compliance with quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and customer-specific requirements Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect prevention, process capability, and system standardization Oversee quality KPIs (PPM, scrap, COPQ, warranty, customer scorecards) and translate data into actionable improvements Champion structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, A3, Six Sigma, DMAIC) Lead internal and external audit processes, including customer audits and regulatory reviews Partner with plant leadership to resolve systemic quality issues across multiple sites Strengthen supplier and customer quality performance through proactive engagement and escalation management Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the region Lead, develop, and mentor regional quality teams, including plant-level quality leaders Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field required; Master's degree preferred 10-15+ years of progressive quality leadership experience in manufacturing environments Minimum 5+ years leading multi-site or regional quality organizations Experience in commercial vehicle, automotive, heavy equipment, or related industries strongly preferred Deep knowledge of quality systems and standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) Strong expertise in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC Demonstrated success driving quality transformation, cost reduction, and cultural change initiatives Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization Experience managing customer relationships, audits, and escalations Strong analytical capability with a data-driven approach to decision-making Familiarity with manufacturing processes (welding, machining, assembly, coatings, testing) ASQ certification (CQE, CQM) and/or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred What We Offer Competitive compensation and benefits package Opportunity to lead quality strategy across a dynamic, multi-site manufacturing organization Exposure to senior leadership and high-impact business initiatives Career growth within a global organization About
