Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager specializing in Data Center Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC). This pivotal role involves overseeing the quality management processes during the construction and commissioning of data center facilities. The successful candidate will ensure that all construction activities meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance, facilitating seamless project execution from inception to completion. This position offers an excellent opportunity to lead complex projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and uphold rigorous quality standards in a dynamic environment. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC plans tailored to data center construction projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications. Conduct regular construction site inspections to verify compliance with design documents, technical specifications, and safety regulations. Coordinate with construction teams, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate quality control processes and resolve any issues promptly. Collect, analyze, and document data related to construction activities, quality inspections, and testing procedures to monitor project progress. Review contracts and technical documentation to ensure scope compliance and identify potential quality risks early in the project lifecycle. Lead quality audits and inspections at various project phases, providing detailed reports and recommendations for corrective actions. Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), track resolution efforts, and verify corrective measures have been effectively implemented. Collaborate with project management teams to integrate quality assurance measures into overall project schedules and budgets. Ensure all construction activities comply with contractual obligations, safety standards, and environmental regulations. Facilitate communication among stakeholders regarding quality issues, inspection results, and project updates. Skills Proven experience working on construction sites within the data center or similar high-tech infrastructure environments. Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including contract administration and project coordination. Expertise in quality control procedures, inspection techniques, and data collection methods specific to construction projects. Excellent analysis skills for evaluating inspection data, identifying trends, and recommending improvements. Familiarity with construction contracts, specifications, and relevant industry standards such as ISO or ANSI. Ability to perform thorough construction inspections while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines. Effective communication skills for liaising with diverse teams including engineers, contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies. Proficiency in documentation management tools and software used for tracking quality assurance activities. This role is integral to delivering reliable infrastructure that meets rigorous standards of excellence.
