Quality Control Manager / Leadership Opportunity Are you a qualified professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and leading teams in a manufacturing environment? We're partnered with a leading manufacturer of highly engineered industrial products to identify a Quality Control Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality leader who wants to make a visible impact on production performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives. In this role, you'll serve as the driving force behind plant quality systems, lead a team of Quality Control professionals, and partner closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure products consistently meet customer expectations and industry standards. Key Responsibilities As the Quality Control Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of plant-level quality operations, including the following: Leading incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities to ensure product quality compliance Managing quality systems and supporting compliance with ISO, ASME, ASTM, and internal quality requirements Coordinating internal and external audits and driving corrective actions when needed Investigating non-conformances, managing Return Good Authorizations (RGA), and overseeing product disposition activities Supervising, mentoring, and developing Quality Control inspectors and quality personnel Leading rapid-response quality initiatives to quickly resolve production-related issues Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurring problems Partnering with Production, Engineering, and Comer teams to improve quality, delivery performance, and operational efficiency Supporting customer witness inspections, testing activities, NDT reviews, coating inspections, and final product acceptance Preferred Experience Experience leading quality control or quality assurance functions within a manufacturing environment Background in industries such as precision machining, metals manufacturing, aerospace, industrial equipment, automotive, or similar sectors Experience with audits, NCRs, CAPA programs, and quality management systems Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ASME, ASTM, or related quality standards Proven leadership experience supervising inspectors or quality personnel Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing requirements Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communications skills Why This Opportunity Stands Out Join a respected manufacturer producing highly engineered products for demanding applications Take ownership of quality initiatives that directly impact operational success Lead and develop a quality team while partnering with senior manufacturing leadership Drive continuous improvement projects with measurable business impact Stable organization with strong growth opportunities and long-term career potential If you're a Quality Manager looking for an opportunity where your expertise can truly make a difference, we'd love to connect.
