Quality Assurance Manager Job Description The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's Quality Assurance and Quality Control programs across fabrication and construction operations. The role ensures compliance with contract requirements, company standards, and applicable codes, while driving defect prevention and process standardization. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain corporate QA/QC Manual and procedures. Manage BPVC and NBIC programs and certifications. Maintain WPS, PQRs, and welder continuity records. Coordinate third-party NDE, inspections, and testing. Ensure calibration of test equipment and weld machines. Manage non-conformance tracking and corrective actions. Perform project compliance reviews, including specifications, NDE, and materials. Conduct shop and jobsite audits and inspections. Inspect fabrication for materials, dimensions, and orientation. Drive process improvement and root cause analysis. Support project teams and participate in planning meetings. Assist estimating with quality requirements. Support QA/QC reporting systems and tools. Essential Skills Expertise in Quality Assurance and Quality Control. Inspection proficiency with strong knowledge of mechanical construction and fabrication. Working knowledge of BPVC, NBIC, and welding processes. Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and organizational ability. Strong communication and leadership skills. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Work Environment This role operates in a dynamic environment involving both office and fieldwork, requiring collaboration with diverse teams across various projects. The work involves using advanced technologies and equipment, and adherence to safety standards is paramount. The position may require travel to different job sites and working conditions can vary based on project needs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Everett, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
