WAGE RANGE

(NON-EXEMPT): $25.00 - $30.00/ hour

: Quality Control Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The QC Coordinator is an integral part of the quality team and will be responsible for capturing, documenting, and reporting data analytics to support customer needs as well as internal improvement initiatives. Also, the role is responsible for escalation, communication of issues and trends. In addition, the coordinator will provide technical solutions to assist the manufacturing team with improving food safety as well as quality performance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

Capture Quality data from various inputs, review for accuracy and completeness, and record it in the appropriate system. Manage and develop positive release process for finished goods Create and communicate reports for use by leadership and clients. Communicate policies and standards to quality and manufacturing teams. Deliver training to associates regarding data systems, procedures, and principles. Provide input for the development and improvement of quality and manufacturing data systems. Apply data analytics to identify a wide variety of risks and escalate out of spec situations. Assist in managing other aspects of Quality documentation such as reviewing, updating, and maintaining specs, sanitation records, etc. Assist in implementation of new QMS systems and applications. Manage and develop including, but not limited to KPIs for Customer Complaint trending, FM trending, Auditing Quality data and First Time Right. Assist in other aspects of Quality as needed and Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

1-2 years of experience in an administrative role. Associate's degree or equivalent and/or practical industry preferred. Knowledge of HACCP, food safety plans, cGMP, food quality system, sanitation, allergen control, and environmental monitoring preferred. Self-motivation, ability to work independently, and within a team environment with strong follow-up, organization and prioritization skills, and excellent attention to detail is required. Proficiency in documentation and computing including report generation, database maintenance, resource tracking, and data analysis. Methodical and detail-oriented; draft and submit accurate and complete technical reports within a specific timeline. Work well under pressure; meet critical monthly, quarterly and year end deadlines. High degree of organizational, administrative, interpersonal, and communication skills required to efficiently accomplish work assignments. Proficient in Microsoft products (e.g., Office 365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Good analytical and organizational skills are needed to plan and implement assignments and to work through consistent interruptions. Ability to address complex problems and propose viable solutions. Excellent oral and written communications skills are required.

WORK ENVIROMENT AND EQUIPMENT

This job is located within the corporate office, in an indoor environment. This position may occasionally support work in the warehouse roasting facility that requires constant standing on concrete floors, exposed to loud equipment noise and subject to coffee dust with strong odors. Personal protection equipment and other Good Manufacturing Practices are mandatory.
