Job Description:
Our custodial operation is seeking a Quality Inspection Supervisor able to work both individually and as a team member. Your focus will be driving custodial training, quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance and cleanliness with contract specifications including company regulations. Inspecting all phases of a variety of goods, services, or operation for conformity to establish quality, health and safety, and other operational standards by performing on-going work for compliance with contractual provisions. Responsible for assisting in the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of staff engaged in cleaning and maintaining the site premises.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for helping better employee performance and knowledge by conducting training, testing, and development of new and existing employees. This position requires flexible availability to facilitate training across all shifts.
- Plan, coordinate and conduct training for new and current employees, using DFS standard program.
- Implement and enforce company policy and best industry practices amongst employees.
- Delivering and conducting training programs for new hires on a weekly schedule.
- Provide participants with weekly feedback on their training and development progress.
- Conducts inspections utilizing company issued methods and measures as instructed by upper Management.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Qualifications:
- Ability to conduct training
- Thorough knowledge of the standard methods, equipment, and supplies in a large or small scale Janitorial activities of the service.
- Ability to work with a diverse workforce
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to operate and use tools/equipment for training purposes
- Ability to make the most efficient use of personnel as instructed, can delegate tasks and assignments
- Considerable knowledge of employee policies and procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and respond using written communication
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work effectively independently or with a team
- Basic knowledge of general housekeeping methods and practices, cleaning products and use
