We're looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Director to join our Executive Leadership Team and lead quality strategy, guide our programs, mentor our team, and strengthen our ability to deliver precision work in highly regulated industries. What You'll Do
NQA-1, ISO
9001, and quality management systems (QMS)
- Serve as the quality leader on the executive team, influencing strategic decisions
- Drive internal audits, external audits, compliance, and regulatory adherence
- Oversee corrective actions (CAPA), root cause analysis, and nonconformance systems
- Partner with operations to improve manufacturing quality, on-time delivery, and process control
- Lead continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and quality initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ASME, AWS, NDE, and customer specifications This isn't a "check-the-box" role. You will influence how quality is executed across the entire organization. What We're Looking For
- Strong background in metals manufacturing (machining, fabrication, or welding)
- Background in DOE, DOD, nuclear, or highly regulated industries
- Leadership experience managing quality assurance programs, QMS and personnel.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, welding standards, and engineering specifications Highly Preferred
- Experience with managing a NQA-1 or ASME Quality program (certified or trained)
- Familiarity with ASME (Section V, IX, III and NQA-1), AWS standards, and NDE standards and methods
- Experience supporting government or nuclear contracts
- Certifications such as CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma Why Work At Lindquist
