Job Description
Position Summary Accurate Fabrication is seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor / Quality Lead to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the manufacturing process. This role is responsible for ensuring products meet customer requirements, industry standards, and company quality objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Quality Supervisor will work closely with production, engineering, customer service, and management teams to drive quality performance, reduce defects, and maintain compliance with applicable standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead and support daily quality inspection activities throughout fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, and finishing processes. Supervise quality personnel, including inspectors and quality technicians. Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection standards. Review customer specifications, drawings, and quality requirements to ensure compliance. Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections. Manage non-conforming material processes, including containment, investigation, disposition, and corrective actions. Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities. Monitor key quality metrics and report performance to management. Coordinate customer audits, internal audits, and supplier quality audits. Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Ensure calibration of inspection and measurement equipment is maintained. Partner with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction. Train employees on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices. Support continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. Assist with supplier quality management and incoming inspection programs. Maintain quality records and documentation in accordance with company and customer requirements. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of manufacturing quality experience. Minimum 2 years of leadership, supervisory, or lead experience. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T. Experience using precision measuring instruments including: Calipers Micrometers Height gauges Thread gauges CMM equipment (preferred) Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication and organizational skills. Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. ASQ certifications (CQE, CQT, CQA, or similar). Experience in metal fabrication, welding, machining, and paint/coating operations. Knowledge of
ISO 9001

Ability to perform visual inspections and use precision measuring tools. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, chemicals, paint processes, and varying temperatures.
