Quality Control Supervisor Location:

Monticello, WI Schedule:

1st Shift | Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40-50 hrs/week)

Pay:

$60K-$70K base + bonus potential What You'll Be Doing This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll own quality and food safety for a food manufacturing operation. You'll lead a team of 7 QC Techs (days + nights) and be the go-to person for keeping product quality high and audits clean. Manage and develop a team of QC Technicians across shifts Drive quality and food safety culture on the production floor Handle customer complaints, investigations, and corrective actions Oversee inspections, calibration programs, and quality systems Lead internal audits and help prep for SQF, regulatory, and customer audits Partner with production and leadership to fix issues and improve processes Own food safety programs (HACCP, preventive controls, GMPs, environmental monitoring, pest control) Track trends, report KPIs, and push continuous improvement Team & Culture You're not sitting in an office all day. This is a floor-facing role where you'll work closely with production, leadership, and your QC team. They're looking for someone who can hold people accountable, communicate clearly, and actually drive change - not just maintain the status quo. What You Need to Have (Non-Negotiables) 1-3+ years of quality experience in food manufacturing HACCP + Preventive Controls certification Working knowledge of SQF and FDA regulations Experience leading or mentoring others (formal or informal) Comfortable handling customer complaints, audits, and investigations Nice to Have (Not Required) Prior supervisory experience Experience improving quality systems or leading initiatives Strong audit exposure (SQF, regulatory, or customer audits) Why This Role Opportunity to step into (or grow within) leadership High visibility with plant leadership and direct impact on operations Mix of floor presence + problem-solving + team leadership Bonus potential tied to performance

Pay:
