Job Description

What You Will Do:

We're hiring a Quality Control Supervisor! In this role, you'll oversee incoming and in-process inspections, coordinating the work of inspectors responsible for incoming materials, circuit card assemblies (CCAs), subassemblies, Class A inspections, Repair Station inspections, and final unit inspections. You'll also direct training on shop specifications, component recognition, and job duties to ensure work meets assembly standards. You'll plan and assign work to support production goals and provide day-to-day guidance to the inspection team.

This is an on-site position at our headquarters in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. You'll report to the Continuous Improvement and Quality Manager.

How You Will Do It:

Manage and prioritize day-to-day activities of more than 15 inspectors. Coordinate with production supervisors, production manager, and production control to schedule work, set priorities, and manage material flow through CCA, subassembly, and Class A inspection. Provide additional direction and adjust priorities for incoming material inspections as needed in coordination with the Hot List.

Partner with relevant departments to quickly resolve issues that affect production. Monitor quality performance and address issues to ensure required quality standards are met.

Identify and implement training appropriate to each process area to maintain adequate coverage and team capability.

Monitor individual performance and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement. Participate in continuous improvement teams and activities.

What We Look For:

Required High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution. Minimum of three years of experience in electronic or electromechanical assembly, with at least one year in a supervisory or lead role preferred.

Extensive knowledge of electronics, Surface Mount Technology (SMT), CCA, environmental testing, and box build.

Must be detail-oriented and have excellent verbal, written, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Must have strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and to direct and schedule assigned staff with established procedures and work plans. Prior experience using an ERP system.

Must have proficient computer skills utilizing MS office applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

Desired:

Associate of Applied Science degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology or a related field from an accredited institution. Experience with IPC-A-610 and

J-STD-001.

Familiarity with the aviation industry is a plus.
