Coordinate and perform duties related to internal and external quality, and maintain ISO Registration.
Primary Activities:
Maintain ISO registration by reviewing standards, performing audits, and managing the quality process . Complete customer required quality and compliance documentation. For example; PPAP, FMEA, COO, NAFTA, control plans, etc. Communicate with customers when necessary regarding quality issues, document requests, etc. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications Perform inspections when necessary for incoming and outgoing product. Perform in process inspections when necessary. Maintain documentation for lot control of product for specific customers. Maintain and reduce scrap levels during production processes. Monitor, correct and update information on shop papers relative to work center routing and any special requirements. Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other applicable quality management systems Maintain gage calibration program. Assist with the machine/equipment maintenance program. Assist with recommendations for policy and procedure. Perform other duties and projects on an as needed basis. Position Requirements Business, manufacturing, or engineering related degree or Certification from ASQ or equivalent years of related work experience. Minimum of 3 years related experience from a manufacturing Field. Familiarity with
ISO 9001/AS9100
quality systems Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Must be extremely detail oriented while also having the ability to multitask. Must have excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
