Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Supervisor in Martinsburg, WV with a local manufacturing company.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree in Food science, Quality, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience). 3-5 years of Quality Assurance experience in manufacturing required; food manufacturing or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of SQF, GMP, HACCP, food safety, and quality systems. SQF Practitioner Certification required. HACCP Certification required or ability to obtain after hire. Internal Auditor or ISO experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and support the Quality team to ensure products meet company, customer, and regulatory standards. Maintain compliance with SQF, GMP, HACCP, and all food safety and quality programs. Conduct routine quality inspections, GMP audits, and internal process audits. Assist with customer, regulatory, and third-party audits, including corrective actions. Train, coach, and develop Quality employees while assisting with new hire orientation and onboarding. Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports and documentation. Investigate quality concerns and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions. Verify equipment calibration and maintain accurate quality records. Coordinate staffing coverage and work closely with Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Safety departments. Support the Quality Manager with certifications, projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and other departmental needs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Manufacturing facility with exposure to noise and varying temperatures. Required to wear all company-issued PPE. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Must be able to climb stairs and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. Occasional overtime may be required during audits, projects, or peak production periods.
