Full time General Information/Job Summary The Site Quality Manager will be responsible for Inspections, and inspection staff with an emphasis on practical application of codes to achieve cost-effective compliance with design and customer requirements. The Site Quality Manager mitigates risk by sponsoring a quality conscious work environment supported by core competencies and rigorous process controls. Responsibilities Effectively interprets multi-discipline engineering and quality requirements and provides technical guidance for inspection, testing and quality service activities. Coordinates or designates Third Party Testing agencies, welder qualifications, NDE and maintaining documentation. Review and/or complete all necessary quality related reports and documentation. Track welding progress using MaxTrax program. Project-specific civil, concrete, soil, environmental, safety, NDE, hydrostatic testing, turnover, and client quality requirements. CWI Required Requirements Experienced in Quality Assurance / Quality Control data center to include minimum of five (5) years previous experience with a preferred CWI in a similar role in the Heavy Industrial Oil and Gas industry. Extensive knowledge of quality control requirements in the energy sector. Ability to schedule multiple activities. Knowledge and use of computers and software packages. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills at a high level. Ability to manage and participate in project teams. Initiative and creative problem-solving skills. High level of commitment to project industrial safety. Support goal of Quality, Safety and Productivity working together harmoniously. Support Teamwork concept with operations group with QAQC training at supervisor level. Extensive knowledge ofASME / ACI / D1.1
Codes. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to walk the property and laydown yards.
