Job Description

Quality Technician
  • 12 Hour Shifts (Cullman, AL)Schedule 12-hour shifts 6:00 AM
  • 6:30 PM 6:00 PM
  • 6:30 AM Rotating schedule: 2-on / 2-off / 3-on / 3-off Job Summary The Quality Technician is responsible for testing and inspecting products at various stages of the production process.
This role ensures that all products meet quality and reliability standards by collecting and evaluating data. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inspect and verify product quality during production Perform quality checks including SME, LMI, and visual inspections Assist with containment of non-conforming or suspect materials Measure parts to ensure specifications are met Disposition suspect materials and develop sorting criteria Review internal systems for quality concerns and assist with investigations Create and communicate quality alerts Perform monthly inspections according to established reports Communicate product status with engineers and management Maintain a safe and organized QA and reject area QualificationsEducation & Experience High school diploma or GED required 1-3 months of related experience or training preferred Skills Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedures, and work instructions Ability to write basic reports and communicate effectively with team members Basic math skills (percentages, measurements, etc.) Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Familiarity with Quality Alert Systems is a plus Additional Information Occasional travel may be required for training or customer-related issues
