Employee will be responsible for verifying machined and assembled hardware meet specified drawing/CAD model requirements using Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) and standard inspection measuring tools. Other duties may include performing receiving inspection and generating/reviewing manufacturing documentation. Applicant must be able to work with minimal supervision. Candidate must possess a High School diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of CMM operation and/or mechanical inspection experience. Experience with Brown and Sharpe CMM w/PC-DMIS software is a plus. Must be proficient with micrometers, height gages, gage blocks, comparators, radius gages, and calipers. Must be able to verify thing like flatness, thread depth, and surface finish. Candidate must be able to read and interpret drawings, 3-D solid models, and specifications and prepare handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports. Candidates with experience in inspection of complex aerospace hardware are desired. Prior experience with AS9100 quality systems is a plus.
