Positions Available Shift:
Must be available to work either 1st or 2nd shift Position Summary We are seeking detail-oriented Quality Inspectors to join our team. This is a temp-to-hire role. In this role, you will support production operations by performing inspections, audits, and quality-related activities to ensure products meet customer specifications and company quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical inspections, blueprint reading, and precision measuring equipment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify part and assembly compliance. Perform inspections using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, tape measures, pin/plug gauges, indicators, surface plates, and other inspection tools. Conduct receiving inspections of raw materials and components according to established procedures. Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and quality documentation. Verify that in-process inspections and audits are completed and properly documented. Follow all company quality policies, procedures, and established guidelines. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments. Demonstrate a cooperative, flexible, and team-oriented attitude. Work independently while consistently meeting deadlines and quality expectations. Apply sound judgment and attention to detail in daily work activities. Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve quality and efficiency. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of two (2) years of mechanical inspection experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents. Proficiency with precision measuring equipment and inspection tools. Basic computer skills with competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical Requirements Frequent standing and walking throughout the workday. Occasional bending, stooping, reaching, and use of hand tools. Frequent handling and inspection of manufactured parts.
Ability to lift and carry:
Up to 10 lbs. continuously 10-20 lbs. frequently Up to 50 lbs. occasionally Ability to maintain balance and work safely around manufacturing equipment. Must have the ability to see details at close range and at a distance, distinguish colors, perceive depth, and adjust focus as needed. Why Join Us?
