Belcan, a leader in engineering services for the aerospace industry, is seeking experienced Source Inspectors in the Talladega, AL area. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in aerospace inspections, who are comfortable working independently and onsite at supplier manufacturing facilities.Ideal Candidate:
You possess extensive experience in aerospace source inspections and are dedicated to upholding the highest quality standards. Your ability to work independently and communicate effectively with suppliers and clients ensures seamless inspection processes and continuous quality improvements.Responsibilities:
- Perform aerospace source inspections, ensuring compliance with industry standards and validating supplier documentation.
- Conduct on-site inspections, checking products, assemblies, and components for adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with suppliers and clients to resolve any inspection-related issues and drive quality improvements.
- Ensure thorough documentation and reporting of inspection results.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting aerospace engineering documents and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9000, AS9100, NADCAP, and related quality systems.
- Ability to travel up to 50% to supplier locations.
- Certification or degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in aerospace source inspections.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- US Citizenship required due to the nature of the work.
