Co., Inc. - one of the nation's largest regional paint manufacturers - has an immediate opening for a Quality Control Technician. This position is located at our corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Theodore, AL, a suburb of Mobile, AL. We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for testing raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products to ensure they meet company specifications and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in coatings, chemicals or manufacturing environments and takes pride in maintaining high quality standards. Key responsibilities include performing routine Quality Control testing on raw materials, intermediates and finished products. Conduct viscosity, grind, gloss, color, adhesion and dry time testing. Maintain accurate lab records and batch documentation. Approve or reject materials based on product specifications. Assist in troubleshooting product quality issues with the production team. Calibrate and maintain lab equipment. Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.
