Welspun's Little Rock facilities are state-of-the-art and one of its kind in technology for producing pipes for the oil and gas industry. The HFiW mill is a fully automatic and integrated mill capable of producing pipes ranging in diameter 6 5/8th inches to 24" and wall thickness from 0.158" to 0.750". Welspun Arkansas facilities employ more than 700 people. People are our differentiator! Job Summary:
As an Inspector your duties will consist of reviewing and maintaining all inspection documentation, visual inspection and measuring dimensions such as thickness and width of raw material. Ideal Candidates will have the following skills: Ability to measure and inspect dimension of pipes. Ability to visually inspect ID/OD of pipes for any defects and grind such areas where required. Ability to read and understand relevant standards and specifications. Ability to check bevel, root face & end bead flushing height & length, Inside Diameter (ID) visual inspection of each pipe with torch at ends accessible. A good understanding of calibration verification for measuring instruments. Communicate TPI feedback to final lead inspector. Coordination with ID & OD inspectors to get feedback about the pipes quality. Willingness to work rotating shifts (days, nights and/or weekends) and overtime as needed. Communication with team members in other departments for the safe transfer of pipes throughout the facility. Computer skills with product tracking software such as SAP. Willingness to work
