Job Description

Final Inspector Job Description The mission of the Final inspector at RCAL Products is to ensure that all product produced on the board line meet customer, IPC, and RCAL requirements and standards through rigorous documentation adherence, acute attention to detail, and rapid process feedback. The following items outline the base responsibilities of the Final Inspector at RCAL Products Inc.  Study the assembly's Production Aid and customer requirements prior to starting any job  Perform the First Article verification process to ensure that process was performed correctly  Inspect boards during production to ensure process integrity Conduct manual inspections Document defects Communicate issues with operators and supervisors Shut down the process if issues are not resolved Rework defective boards or set aside for a rework person  Engage in training to ensure proficiency in the following standards: RCAL Inspection procedures IPC-610 standards  Keep work areas clean and free of clutter  Be a team player Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure that the Board lines produce effectively, meeting quality and scheduling constraints Hold team-members accountable to company performance and procedural standards
