Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance/Quality Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. This position involves conducting quality inspections, analyzing data, and implementing quality control measures to enhance product reliability and safety. Responsibilities Conduct thorough quality inspections of products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with industry standards. Collects and evaluates production samples, ensuring that materials and products meet acceptable quality and integrity standards. coordinates employee efforts to ensure efficient production and manufacturing lines. Utilize precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and Calypso software, to perform accurate measurements and assessments. Collect and analyze research data related to product quality, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective QA/QC protocols. Drafts and implements policies and procedures to improve the manufacturing process and the quality of goods produced. Maintains records of test results, defects identified, and other key metrics related to quality control. Drafts and maintains standard operating procedures, manuals, and documentation for the manufacturing and QA processes. Monitors and periodically reports on production quality, nonconformance, trends, and underlying causes of defects in products or processes. Ceases production when serious product defects or risks arise. Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and guidelines in all quality assurance activities. Document findings, prepare reports, and present results to management for review and action. Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance practices and standards. Qualifications Familiarity with manufacturing and industry standards and methodologies is essential. Proficient in using precision measuring instruments and conducting quality inspections. Experience with research data collection and analysis techniques. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across teams. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodology. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with MicroSoft Office suite or related software.
