The Quality Control Associate will prioritize inspections, quality audits, and work needed to ensure location Protocols and Standards are met. The focus will be ensuring product is handled to the customer's standards, reducing errors, and promoting continuous improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Audit processes to ensure quality standards are being met and procedures are followed. Inspect and repair damaged product. Maintain appropriate records. Conduct refresher training as required. Process out-of-specification material as directed. Effectively work and communicate with others in the organization. Inform QA Supervisor of major and critical defects found during inspections. Verifies action is taken to resolve defects. Participate in location inventories. Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE
Capable of basic math calculations General knowledge of computers Previous quality assurance role High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
ABILITIES
Able to lift, stand or walk constantly all shift as needed Able to lift up to 50 pounds Able to read and interpret specifications and drawings Able to use standard measuring equipment
